3/8" rebar cut to 18" in length. A nut is welded onto to top for increased surface area for hammering and ensure the swivel doesn't slip over the rebar. The bottom end is cut at an angle for easy driving.
Used for staking down your traps. The best option for staking with rebar is cross staking. There are cross stake or double stake swivels that replace the swivel on the end of your trap chain. Drive your stakes in at angles so that the stakes cross and make an X underground. This improves your holding power without needing to use longer stakes. In most cases 18" stakes, cross staked will give all the holding power you need. You can use a single stake for smaller predators such as raccoon, mink, and opossum.
